Before founding Sym Group in 2025, Jes Zo worked at Wuhan Boogo Hotel Management Co., Ltd., where he was mainly responsible for the management and operations of the company’s brand, 'Boogo Inn.'

In 2010, a rebirth occurred, and since then, January 8th has been designated as 'Rebirth Day' every year.

In 2011, he went to Nepal alone for a three-month teaching program. Later, while traveling in India, he was drugged and found himself penniless, leading him to renounce the worldly life and study Buddhism.

In 2012, he initiated a nationwide charity campaign called 'Love on the Road' and established the 'Love on the Road Charity Fund' in the same year. This initiative received extensive media coverage from outlets such as Chutian Metropolis Daily, Beijing News, and Workers' Daily.

In 2013, he drafted the Personal Ecosystem Theory and proposed the Self-Fund Theory. In September of the same year, he established the Zhou Jianxuan Gratitude Award, which has been awarded up to the 9th edition.

In 2015, he founded Wuhan Boogo Inn, which was ranked as the top youth hostel in Wuhan for several consecutive years. Three years later, he completed a 1 million RMB seed round of financing.

In 2019, he completed the '234 Plan,' which consists of two ten-year plans: the first aims to travel to 34 provincial-level administrative regions in China over ten years, and the second aims to visit 34 countries around the world in the following ten years.

In 2020, he completed his first personal e-biography titled 'Jes Zo's Autobiography' In the same year, on October 10th, he moved to Shenzhen and founded Bowoz, which continues to operate today.
